By accessing or using the Farmers Marketplace website at farmersmarketplace.farm (“Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

What the Site is

Farmers Marketplace is a pre-launch platform connecting Linn County, Iowa food producers with Cedar Rapids area consumers. The Site currently collects interest signups and provides information about the upcoming marketplace. It is not yet a fully operational buying or selling platform.

Producer and consumer signups

Submitting a signup form does not constitute a binding contract, guarantee of service, or reservation of any specific product or delivery slot. We will reach out when the marketplace opens in your area.

The farmer demo

The “Try the Farmer Demo” chat on this Site is a demonstration only. Messages sent through the demo are not saved to any real inventory system, do not create listings, and do not constitute any commercial transaction. Demo responses are generated by an AI model and may not reflect the behavior of the final product.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading information through any form on the Site
• Attempt to access, disrupt, or interfere with any part of the Site or its infrastructure
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Scrape, harvest, or otherwise collect data from the Site without written permission

Intellectual property

All content on this Site — including text, design, code, and branding — is the property of Farmers Marketplace and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.

Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any information on it is complete or accurate. The marketplace is pre-launch and timelines are subject to change.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Farmers Marketplace is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
